The EPT is heading back to festive Prague for a seventh time this winter with a seven-day €5,300 Main Event from December 12-18, 2013. Christmas is the perfect time to visit this stunning city with its famed Yuletide markets featuring gingerbread and hot wine stalls creating a great atmosphere. The full Festival runs December 8-18, so you’ve plenty of time to enjoy this incredible destination.
The EPT has joined forces with the Eureka Poker Tour giving players an 11-day festive feast of poker with nearly 40 different tourneys scheduled. The €1,100 Eureka Main Event kicks off December 8, and the €5,300 EPT Main Event starts four days later on December 12.
Last season this popular EPT event attracted a massive 864 players and was won - for a first prize of €835,000 - by Sweden’s Ramzi Jelassi. Eight different countries were represented at the final table, with players from Sweden, Greece, the Netherlands, UK, Spain, Russia, Belarus and USA all involved.
Dress code: Casual, but no sports wear.
Minimum age: 18
