PokerStars and MONTE-CARLO®CASINO EPT Grand Final
For the stunning conclusion of Season 8, the EPT has teamed up with a co-sponsor to bring you the PokerStars and Monte-Carlo®Casino European Poker Tour Grand Final! This star-studded event will close the season in style - taking in one of Europe’s most glamorous and exciting destinations.
Last season the tour staged its finale in the Spanish capital Madrid, where Venezuela’s Ivan Freitez claimed the title and €1,500,000 in prize money. This season, the final stop on the tour is back in its spiritual home in Monaco. The event will run April 23-May 1, 2012, and will be a festival of poker, with a big schedule of side events. The Main Event of the PokerStars and Monte-Carlo®Casino EPT Grand Final will have a buy-in of €10,600 and attract the best players in the world, who will do battle for millions of dollars in cash and one of live poker’s biggest first-place prizes.
SHAMBALLA JEWELS
In addition to their title and cash prize, the winner of all EPT Season 8 Main Events will receive a stunning bracelet from Shamballa Jewels, one of the most exclusive jewellery firms in the world. Owned by Mads and Mikkel Kornerup, Shamballa has existed since 2004 and is worn by numerous A-list celebrities around the world such as Jay-Z, Michael Jordan, Ashton Kutcher and many more. The beautiful jewellery is inspired by ancient traditions of Buddhism, meditation and yoga and designed for people who want to radiate individuality and exclusivity.
