The Pokerstars.com European Poker Tour Awards were a resounding success last season and we’re already excited about who’s going to be raising up trophies at the end of Season 7.
A total of eight EPT Awards will be presented this season including a new award for Heads-Up Player of the Year. Six of the Awards are based on points accumulated in Main Events and $1,000+ Side Events. The EPT Achievement of the Year and Players’ Choice Awards are voted on by EPT players at the end of the season. All individual award winners receive a full prize package for the first event of EPT Season 8.

BEST EPT ONLINE QUALIFIER OF THE YEAR
The Online Qualifier of the Year is calculated from two distinct ranking systems (live and online). To be eligible for this award, a player needs to have earned points in both rankings:
- Online - 100 points awarded for each time you qualify online at PokerStars for an EPT Main Event. No additional points are given for multiple seats you win to the same event.
- Live – Only players that have qualified online via PokerStars for the Main Event and have cashed at that event can enter this ranking. Their finishing position at the live event will determine the number of “live” points they earn for this award.
The total of both rankings is then added and the player with most points is considered the Best Online Qualifier.
Current holder: Pierre Neuville
BEST EPT COUNTRY AWARD
The Best EPT Country will be decided according to the following formula:
Number of players registered per country in each event divided by the number of players cashing per country at each event.
