EPT President

Edgar Stuchly

Edgar Stuchly became the President of the European Poker Tour at the start of Season 8 and since then has guided the EPT to its present format, with every stop a true festival of poker. Stuchly, who hails from Austria, has helped refine the vision for the EPT and overseen numerous improvements - all designed to enrich the player experience and provide players with an unparalleled offering both at and away from the poker tables. Stuchly was previously Head of Poker at Casinos Austria and has more than 22 years experience in the poker industry. In 2009, he won the ‘Poker Staff Person of the Year’ Award for his contribution to live poker in Europe.

Thomas Lamatsch

Thomas Lamatsch

Thomas Lamatsch has 20 years experience in the poker industry, starting as a dealer in Vienna in 1993 and later becoming the manager of the CCC, one of the biggest live poker clubs in Europe. In 2000, during the explosion of online poker, he established No Limit Hold'em and Rebuy tournaments in this new market. In 2007 he founded his own company and managed a lot of well known tournaments and was involved in plenty of poker TV shows and televised poker games in the German market. He has experience in all areas of poker, live events, player management, online operations and administration.

Toby Stone

Thomas Lamatsch

Toby Stone learnt to deal poker in the early 90s and was quickly promoted to supervisor in one of the biggest and busiest poker clubs in the UK. Since then he has worked in all areas of the poker industry from dealing to online management to managing live rooms. In 1994 he left his permanent Card Room Manager position to become freelance floor and soon became one of the most sought after floor/TD in Europe. Since Joining PokerStars he has been partly responsible for the EPT, and fully responsible for UKIPT and ESPT. He won "Best Tournaments Director" at the British Poker Awards for three years in a row, from 2012-14.
