About EPT

The PokerStars European Poker Tour is world's richest and most popular poker tour. Since 2004 the EPT has staged nine hugely successful seasons that have spanned the continent.

Season 9 sees the world’s best poker tour focus on bigger festivals and more events. There are eight stops including the 2013 PCA, and every stop features more poker, more variety and more buy-in levels. All of the events take place at premium destinations and Season 9 kicks off in style in  Barcelona, before moving on to San Remo, Prague, Deauville, London, Berlin and the Grand Final in Monte Carlo in May 2013. Each stop will be unmissable, and provide an unforgettable experience for all levels of players.

Season 8 featured tournaments right across Europe as well as spectacular 'Festivals of Poker' such as EPT London and the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. New to the schedule for Season 8 were stops in Loutraki in Greece, Campione in Italy, and for the first time ever, a regular season stop in the Spanish capital Madrid. There were also welcome returns to classic EPT destinations such as Prague and Copenhagen, and the season signed off in style. PokerStars and Monte-Carlo®Casino European Poker Tour Grand Final held April 23-May 1, 2012, was the richest poker event ever held in Europe, with more than €19 million awarded to players during the nine-day event.

Many EPT events are filmed for television and the show is broadcast throughout the world. The final table of Season 7's Grand Final made TV history, being filmed 'as live' with hole cards revealed and shown in simultaneous broadcasts on TV channels across Europe as well as in Russia and Canada.
