EPT Tallinn - About
Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, is not only one of the oldest capital cities in Northern Europe but also one of the most beautiful. Located on the southern coast of the Gulf of Finland, this stunning city boasts one of the best-conserved medieval Old Towns in Europe, an asset which has helped win it a UNESCO’s World Heritage Site listing.
Home to a population of less than half a million people, Tallinn teams with visitors in summer months and is famed for its vibrant nightlife – it’s often dubbed “the party capital of Northern Europe”. Tallinn is also renowned for its vibrant performance arts scene.
HOW TO GET THERE
By air: Direct flights arrive from all of Tallinn's neighbouring capitals, as well as many other major European cities such as London, Warsaw, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Dublin, with major carriers including Estonia Air, LOT, Lufthansa, KLM and Easyjet.
