EPT Campione
The European Poker Tour will visit Campione for the first time ever in Season 8, where the Casino di Campione will host the event. Campione, or Campione d'Italia as it is more widely known, is a small Italian municipality located within Switzerland, 1km from the Italian border. It sits on the edge of Lake Lugano, and has spectacular scenery as well as modern amenities.
It’s also a poker hotspot. Campione has hosted many big tournaments previously, including the stops on the hugely successful Italian Poker Tour, which is now in its third season. The first visit of European Poker Tour takes place March 26-31, 2012 and is not to be missed - see you at the tables!
SHAMBALLA JEWELS
In addition to their title and cash prize, the winner of all EPT Season 8 Main Events will receive a stunning bracelet from Shamballa Jewels, one of the most exclusive jewellery firms in the world. Dress code: No sportswear, shorts or ripped jeans. Sneaker/trainers accepted. Poker players may wear sunglasses and caps only inside tournament area, not in the main casino. Jackets are required in the main casino, but not in the poker area.
