QUALIFY FOR THE EPT ON POKERSTARS!

More than 2,000 of those of those who competed in Season 6 EPTs won their seat on PokerStars, winning millions of dollars between them. Arguably the biggest Return On Investment was that achieved by 23-year-old EPT Grand Final Main Event champion Nicolas “niccc” Chouity who won his trip to Monte Carlo in a $22 re-buy tournament on PokerStars and went home to Beirut €1.7 million richer.

Kevin “ImaLuckSac” MacPhee won EPT Berlin for a record €1 million first prize after qualifying on PokerStars. The 29-year-old from Idaho, who won the EPT Players’ Choice Award for Season 6, has a phenomenal track record of winning seats to EPT events and, although Berlin was his first EPT title, he also thrived in side events, bringing him close to winning both the EPT Player of the Year and Online Qualifier of the Year Awards.

Despite super-tough competition from dozens of young opponents, it was new Friend of PokerStars Pierre Neuville from Belgium who won the EPT Online Qualifier of the Year Award. Neuville qualified for ten of the 13 Season 6 events and had several good results including runner-up at EPT Vilamoura. Accepting his award at the EPT Grand Final ceremony, the 68-year-old retired businessman described himself as “the happiest poker player in the world”. Neuville has won nearly half a million euros in EPT prize money since he started competing – and winning seats - in Season 4.

Other impressive PokerStars qualifiers in Season 6 included American Aaron Gustavson who won EPT London for £850,000, Carter Phillips – who carted off €850,000 for his EPT Barcelona victory - and young Swede Anton Wigg who snagged €494,000 for winning EPT Copenhagen.
