About the EPT
EPT Awards Terms and Conditions
- By participating in a live EPT event, you hereby grant the Sponsor ("PokerStars") an irrevocable and perpetual right and license to use your name, voice, photograph, likeness, appearance, image, video or film footage and sound recordings which feature you in any media, including your nationality and resulting information for promotional purposes without any further compensation whatsoever.
- All live EPT tournaments with an initial buy-in amount of less than $/£/€1,000 (where applicable) are not eligible for the EPT Awards ranking system. A minimum of 24 players is required for the tournament to be eligible for the EPT Awards promotion. Super-satellites and tournaments with restricted entry (such as Invitationals or Ladies' events) are also excluded from this promotion.
- Winners of an EPT Award will be offered a full package to play the opening event of the next EPT season by the Sponsor (the "EPT Awards Winner(s)") subject to each such EPT Award Winners consenting to wear the Sponsor’s branded logo exclusively throughout the entirety of the EPT opening event.
- Any EPT Award Winner who is not able to participate in the EPT opening event or refuses to wear the Sponsor’s branded logo on his/her clothing exclusively at such event will forfeit his/her seat in the EPT opening event and shall have no further claims whatsoever for monetary compensation against either of the Sponsor or Euro Poker Tour Ltd.
- Seats offered to the EPT Award Winner(s) are neither transferable nor exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for money or money’s worth.
- Seats available in the Best EPT Country live freeroll are limited and seating will be available on a "first-come, first-served" basis. Entry is restricted to the players from the winning country that have registered and played an eligible EPT event in the same season in which their country won the Best EPT Country award.
- In the event of a tie, the player with the highest place finish in a Main Event will be awarded the prize.
- In the event of players making a deal to alter the prize payouts, further allocation of points is suspended. For example, if a deal is made with three players remaining, all three players will receive points for 3rd place.
- Euro Poker Tour Ltd. reserves the right to add or amend any of the EPT Awards' terms and conditions, as they deem appropriate. The EPT Awards Winners will be informed of such changes as and when they occur.
- In the event of any disputes arising with regards to the EPT Awards and the points ranking system in regards to the European Poker Tour, Euro Poker Tour Ltd.'s decision shall be final.
