POKER
Where do I go to register for the Main Event?
Please go to the cashier located in the poker room. The registration for the Main Event opens at 20:00pm on Friday,

When does the Main Event start?
The main event will start every day at noon, with the final table on January 10 starting at 10:00.

When does the poker room open?
The poker room opens at 18:00 PM on Friday evening (January 4).

Is there a super satellite for the main event?
Yes. It's on Friday, January 4 at 8:00 PM. Buy-in is $500 with one optional $400 rebuy. Registration for the super satellite opens at 17:00.

I'm a guest at Atlantis who just stumbled onto all this. Can I participate?
Assuming you're at least 18 years old, you are welcome to participate in any of the week's activities, including the main event, side events, Sit and Go tournaments and cash games.

What other poker games can I play?
Secondary tournaments, Sit and Go tournaments and cash games. Please see PCA event info for more details.

Will there be cash games and sit-and-go's?
Yes. We'll provide whatever the players are interested in (depending on demand). We'll have cash games and SNGs at $5 or $10 up to $1,000 or higher.

Can I buy in with W$ or FPPs?
No, W$ and FPPs are not accepted for any tournament buy-ins. Players need to buy in with cash (US dollars) or PCA chips.

I only have Euros, can I use them to buy-in?
No, only US dollars are accepted. Players can exchange currency at the casino cage or at the Scotia Bank, a three minute walk from the entrance to the Coral Tower.

Do I need to show ID when I register?
Yes, all players need to show ID to register for any tournament - and main event players need to bring their photo ID each day.

If I win, how will I get paid?
You will receive a small part in cash and the rest can be deposited into your PS account or transferred directly to your bank account.

Was this previously a World Poker Tour event?
Yes. The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure tournament used to be a WPT event.

Is there an agreement I need to sign to appear in a EPT event?
Yes. A condition of entry into any tournament on the EPT will be the completion and signing of a TV release form. This will be given to you to sign when you register for the event.

What is the cap at the event?
The event will be capped at 1,200 players.

HOTEL

I am a PokerStars qualifier - what is the room folio?
The room folio is your hotel room's own account. When you check in, you'll be given an electronic key. This key gives you access to your room but it can also be used to pay for food and beverage at all the Resort's restaurants/bars. If you are a PokerStars qualifier, we will have deposited $1,000 into your room folio so you can use this to pay for your food and beverage during your stay. If you have any problems regarding your hotel room, please visit the PokerStars Welcome Desk outside the poker room.

I am a PokerStars qualifier - I checked in but the money is still not showing on my room account? What's wrong?
It will take 2 full working days for the money to show in your account, but you can start using your card from the day you check-in.

I am a PokerStars qualifier - my room key is not working, what do I do?
Please go to the check in desk for your area of the hotel and get all your keys changed as soon as possible.

Where can I use my key to pay for food and/or beverages?
You can use it at all bars/cafes and restaurants in the resort.

Can I charge spa treatments and other things to my room credit?
You can charge these items to your rooms but you must settle up these charges when you check out. Only restaurant food charges will be deducted against your Food Credit.

What time is check out?
11:00am. And they're strict about it. Please don't expect to check out at 11:45.

Where can I eat?
Room Service is 24 hours. Atlantis restaurants open at different times - please ask a member of the Atlantis staff for details.

Atlantis has agreed to keep Murray's Restaurant open until 2:00am. If the volume of patrons does not cover the costs of keeping it open, Atlantis has the right to resume normal operating hours.

How do I make arrangements to get to the airport on departure day?
It is always best to prearrange a ride to the airport. Call the Bell Desk in advance to reserve a taxi. Airport Transfer time is approximately 30 minutes from the hotel. Anyone travelling through the US, advise players to be at the airport at least 3 hours prior to departure - US Pre-clearance are known to have extremely long line ups.

The PokerStars bank is by the PokerStars office just outside the Poker Room.
